What made me leap into entrepreneurship is that I knew from a young age that I wanted to help and be of service to others. Most of the women in my family are in the medical field as well as experts in Law. I always had a feeling that I want to be different and I’ve always had an interest in beauty and aesthetics. The demand in the field of beauty and fashion is high, so I saw it as a big opportunity to grow and help people.
2. What was the biggest business mistake you made and what did you do to learn from it?
When I first launched my business, I didn’t know much. I read and learned a lot but didn’t have any practical experience. It’s like being a mum for the first time. You have no experience of changing a diaper but having a second child you know everything.
In the beginning, I didn’t know much about marketing, networking, and how it is to put myself out there taking a lot of risks. I believe that I was not as prepared as I could have been. Having the idea of getting rich quickly went down fast and I started to understand the values and implementation of entrepreneurship. It is a marathon of planning, finding the perfect strategies while being patient and disciplined in the industry.
3. What is your business all about?
My business is about empowering women and boosting their confidence by purchasing my products. I assure good quality and excellent customer service. Being a woman with many responsibilities can be challenging. Working, taking care of the family and the home barely gives any time for a woman to take care of herself.
